Compass and Resonant Democracy

Nagi is a compass for moving beyond capitalism.

It receives the freedom, technology, and creativity that capitalism has produced while loosening the monopolies, domination, excessive competition, surveillance, and abandonment that have become too strong within it.

Nagi does not seek a society in which anyone survives by taking another person’s breath away. It seeks a world in which people, culture, nature, and technology can live as a field of mutual breathing, leaving room for one another.

Resonant Democracy

Resonant Democracy does not demand unanimity.

It is a democracy in which dissent, silence, refusal, and exit are protected so that different voices can reach public decisions.

The Ethics of Social Systems extends these democratic conditions into the design of institutions, platforms, markets, media, organizations, and AI.

Resonant Democracy is not a system for making one voice.
It is a system for allowing different voices to reach the future without stopping one another’s breath.
